Specializing in:

  • Habits and Addictions

What you've tried hasn't quite done the trick. Or, it did for awhile and now you're 'back here again'. You're overwhelmed (exhausted even) on a consistent basis. You're really good at the 'window dressing' (keeping things looking good on the outside), but inside you feel like such a failure, a mess. You can't understand how you can present such a 'good front', yet still feel like you can't 'get it together' on the inside. There's so much noise going on in your head that you've been trying to find a way to turn down the volume.

Maybe your inner critic is running the show? Do you sometimes feel the need to take a break from life in the form of habits and addictions?

You are not alone. I have worked with clients throughout my career who all feel the same way. In fact, our current lifestyle often leads to this type of breaking point.

I've worked with people throughout my career to uncover the natural resilience that exists within each of us that often goes unnoticed. Through a process of curiosity, exploration and experimentation, my clients and I work together to improve skills, confidence and safety in order to improve life functioning. Within 1-3months, their life starts to look and feel significantly different. By the end of the first session, most clients have something to consider and/or practice for the next week to start them on their journey.

And we do this on your terms. Your knowledge, experience and comfort drive our experience together. My knowledge, skills and experience offer safety, hope and movement towards well-being. Used together, our journey moves you from feeling 'stuck' and out of control, to a place of internal control and peace. I've seen it happen over and over again in my practice.

I hold certifications in both Anxiety and Trauma treatment (and Diabetes Education) and have significant training in Harm Reduction techniques. I have worked with all age groups, (currently specializing in adults), multiple cultures and all socioeconomic classes. Throughout my career, I've been blessed with a diverse array of experiences and training that give you the individualized treatment that you deserve. My use of multiple and appropriate therapeutic modalities allow us to quickly get to the 'stuck' points and begin to uncover the possibilities and opportunities that exist within them. Most clients leave our journey feeling relieved to have reclaimed their lives.
