About Me: My Journey and Expertise

I'm deeply committed to this work — not only as a clinician, but as someone who has personally navigated the systems I now help others move through. After seeking psychiatric care that ultimately caused harm, I began a long and layered healing journey of my own. That path included addressing intergenerational trauma, recovering from CPTSD, reshaping unwanted habits, and finally understanding my undiagnosed neurodivergence.

I know firsthand how complex it can be to move through life while carrying trauma, sensory overload, internalized shame, and invisible barriers. It’s this lived experience that drives my passion and shapes a practice where clients are always centered as the experts in their own healing.

Specialization in Women’s Neurodivergence

I specialize in working with adult women and gender-expansive individuals whose experiences of ADHD and Autism may have been missed, masked, or misunderstood — especially in the context of hormonal shifts like perimenopause.

My approach is strengths-based and shame-free. I help clients understand their neurodivergence not as a disorder to be “managed,” but as a powerful lens through which their nervous systems, needs, and gifts can be honored. My work integrates strategies that respect each client’s mind-body rhythm, sensory experience, and lived identity.

A Holistic, Client-Centered Approach

My practice is grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and creativity. I use an eclectic mix of modalities to meet the specific needs of each client. Although many are traditional, I also utilize multiple non-traditional tools in my holistic approach to care.

Most recently, I’ve added Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy to my toolbox for improved outcomes and effective, efficient healing options.

Whether you’re seeking support with trauma, navigating neurodivergence, behavior change, or burnout from navigating oppressive systems, I aim to offer tools and perspectives that reconnect you with your own clarity and truth. My goal is ultimately to empower you with the tools and insights uniquely needed to create a life that is true to who you are.

A Practice Committed to Social and Systemic Awareness

I believe therapy cannot be separated from the social, cultural, and historical context in which we live. I bring a strong decolonizing and justice-oriented lens to my work, understanding that competing intersectional and systemic forces can deeply impact our inner worlds.

I am dedicated to advocating for equity and justice within and beyond my practice and have engaged in multiple forms of systemic activism throughout my career. Working simultaneously within the external and internal world, I aim to empower clients to navigate their unique life journey with greater confidence, resilience, and empowerment.

Clients working with me can expect a space that is affirming, aware, and committed to intergenerational healing within a container of mutual trust, partnership, and curiosity.

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 20 years of experience across clinical, community, and systems-level work. My practice integrates trauma-informed, harm reduction, and neurodivergent-affirming approaches toward desired behavior changes and healing.

These are not separate services, but the foundations through which healing and change occur in my work.
